The purpose is to overcome the shortcomings of the above prior art and provide a method to improve the RRR value and yield strength of NbTi superconducting wire. The method of annealing the NbTi/Cu superconducting round wire and then conducting lead-free inlay welding with the U-shaped copper groove wire solves the problem that the RRR value and yield strength of the traditional embedded NbTi superconducting wire cannot be broken through.

To realize the above purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:

A method for increasing the RRR value and yield strength of NbTi superconducting wire comprises the following steps:
1) Determine the specifications of embedded NbTi superconducting wire according to the requirements of the bare wire size of the wire;
2) NbTi/Cu superconducting round wire and U-shaped copper groove wire are prepared according to the copper superconducting ratio of wire and embedded NbTi superconducting wire specifications;
3) Anneal the NbTi/Cu superconducting round wire prepared in step 2;
4) Dip the U-shaped copper groove wire prepared in step 2 and the unannealed NbTi/Cu superconducting round wire into the tin groove, select the appropriate inlay welding temperature for inlay welding to obtain NBTI-1 superconducting wire, and complete the RRR value and yield strength test of NBTI-1 superconducting wire;
5) Dip the U-shaped copper groove wire prepared in step 2 and the annealed NbTi/Cu superconducting round wire into the tin groove, select the appropriate Mosaic welding temperature for Mosaic welding to obtain NBTI-2 superconducting wire, and complete the RRR value and yield strength test of NBTI-2 superconducting wire;
6) Dip the U-shaped copper groove wire prepared in step 2 and the annealed round wire into the tin groove, adjust the inlay welding temperature to reasonably allocate RRR value and yield strength margin, and perform lead-free inlay welding to obtain NbTi superconducting wire with high RRR value and high yield strength.
