Due to the geometry of the part, strong tension may cause the part to deform, resulting in greater deviations. The surface roughness value depends on the direction or surface of the print. Surfaces facing down and supported will be rougher.

Ti-6Al-4V, sometimes referred to as TC4, is an alpha-β titanium alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. It is one of the most commonly used titanium alloys and is widely used in applications requiring low density and excellent corrosion resistance, such as the aerospace industry and biomechanical applications (implants and prosthetics).

Anodizing: An electrochemical process that transforms metal surfaces into decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodized finishes. Heat treatment: The use of heating or cooling, usually to extreme temperatures, to achieve the desired result, such as changing the hardness and softness of the material.

Polishing: Sand the surface to remove the build lines, then apply the polish until the desired surface finish is achieved.

Metal coating: Aluminum can be plated with a variety of metals to increase its corrosion resistance, increase wear resistance, or improve overall aesthetics. Electroplating and electroless plating are possible. Some common metals include tin, nickel, electroless nickel, gold, and silver.

Powder coatings: Powder coatings are a reliable choice for coloring aluminum sheet metal parts, while also adding a certain amount of corrosion resistance. Other post-processing: including CNC milling, turning and EDM.
