Tantalum niobium ore is relatively effective collector of fatty acids, arsine acid, phosphonic acid, hydroxamic acid, cationic collector.
1. Fatty acid collector in the former Soviet union, borigin and gradkech used oxidized ore collector: oleic acid, sodium oleate, sodium tridecanate, sodium sulfate aliphatic ester and sodium isooctyl phosphate to study the floatability of niobate-tantalite in detail. The experimental results show that, when using fatty acids as collectors, the collection capacity of saturated hydrocarbon groups is worse than that of unsaturated groups. When the pH value is 6 ~ 8, sodium oleate flotation of niobate-tantalite is very effective, which is inhibited in both strongly acidic and alkaline media. Modification of fatty acids can improve their selectivity. For example, new effective active groups such as sulfonate, polycarboxyl, sulfuric acid, halogen, amine (ammonia) group, aminoacyl and amide group are introduced into the molecule.
2. Arsonic acid, the collector of arsonic acid, can form a solid surface compound with tantalum, niobium and other rare metal minerals, and the hydroxyl group outward, making the mineral hydrophobic. However, this kind of chemical adsorption does not exist in gangue minerals, so it has strong collecting ability and good selectivity. The disadvantage is that there are pollution problems in the production and use of arsine. Benzyl-arsine and toluene arsine are effective collectors of tantalum and niobium minerals.
3. Studies on the collection of ferrorutile niobium by bisphosphonic acid collectors show that bisphosphonic acid is a good collector of ferrorutile niobium when the pulp pH value is 2 ~ 4, and the recovery rate reaches 90.87% ~ 91.70%. At the same time, it is believed that bisphosphonic acid is adsorbed on the surface of ferrorutile niobium in the form of chemical adsorption.
4. Hydroxamic acid collector industrial hydroxamic acid is combined with transformer oil for rough separation of tantalum and niobium fine mud ore in a certain place of China. When the ore containing Nb2O5 is 0.094%, the coarse concentrate grade Nb2O5 is 0.9 ~ 1.0%, and the recovery rate is about 90%.
5. Studies on cationic collector show that dodecyl acetamine can effectively flotation niobite minerals in neutral medium.
6. Studies on the collection performance of tantalum and niobium minerals by other collectors using the new agent N2 show that N2 with high carbon chain is an effective collector of tantalum and niobium minerals. The experimental results of Soviet union show that alkyl sulfuric acid ester is also suitable for the flotation of niobium-tantalite in wei-crystalline deposit.
Many flotation agents, especially collector agents, when used alone, the effect is not ideal, but when some agents are combined in a certain proportion, the effect is not simple addition effect, but synergistic effect, that is, the synergistic effect of 1+1>2. For example, the combination of xanthate and hydroxamic acid flotation of copper oxide; Flotation of andalusite with sodium oleate and hydroxamic acid; Arsine acid was mixed with xanthate, copperferrin was mixed with benzohydroxamic acid, benzohydroxamic acid was mixed with thar soap, and black tungsten fine mud was flotation. F2O3 was mixed with salicyloxamic acid to flotation cassiterite fine mud, and good results were obtained.
