Zirconium mainly exists in the state of solid solution in niobium alloys, and a small amount of carbides and oxides are dispersed when trace amounts of oxygen and carbon are present or trace amounts of carbon are added. The ingot of nb-1zr alloy is prepared by means of consumable arc furnace, electron beam furnace or combined melting process according to its performance and purity of gap impurities (carbon, oxygen and nitrogen). For products with low purity requirements, niobium powder and zirconium powder can also be mixed to form alloy ingots. The alloy ingots are shaped by hot extrusion or hot forging. Powder sintered ingot can be directly processed into wood.
