Synthetic polycrystalline diamond (PCD) is a polycrystalline material which is polymerized with the solution of diamond micropowder and solvent under high temperature and pressure. PCD, like natural diamond, is not suitable for steel and cast iron. This tool is mainly used for the processing of non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials, such as aluminum, copper, zinc, gold, silver, platinum and alloys, as well as ceramics, carbon fiber, rubber, plastics and so on.
